On November 11, 2011, I purchased filthyhippie.net. It was one of the first grown-up-hobby-purchases I ever made. Originally I intended it to just be my Petz website, but I was enamored with personal sites and blogs as well. So I put Petz on a subdomain and proceeded to leave FH.net largely empty for over a decade hehe. Extremely typical for me.

The name Filthy Hippie is just a product of my, at the time, 16 year old self thinking I was funny. I liked South Park, 60s/70s pop culture, The Beatles, and psychedelics. I was reclaiming the Dirty Hippie slur. I still like to think I'm funny, and the aesthetic hasn't left me, so the name stays.

I like to draw stuff and make little animals out of pixels (and yarn, and fabric.. I just really like animals). I also enjoy making tiny niche websites.

My hobbies include Petz 4, gaming with the boys, art journaling, and too many lil crafts. I like collecting random bullshit, interior design, music, and talking shit on people.
